It means that the IP appears for moderators not for Admins. I can note this too if you do not want to see it. Or we can put it into the disclaimer that moderators will see it so people know.
I also think that IP addresses are not necessary. Sometimes websites use it to make sure that one user does not create 10 avatars and troll the discussion, but in this case there could be better alternatives to prevent that, I guess.
P.S. I've signed out - signed in, and still cannot do the editing.
I draft the Terms of Use and insert it to all the three forum presentations. I send an email to Latte about the auto feed refresh and to see the number of signed in users. What do we conclude on the IP address?
Yep, I agree with Neringa. We can do without the IP's at this point. I guess if it becomes a problem in the future we can return to it, but for now we should try to protect people's privacy?
A few last things - Laszlo, Balint wanted to ask Latte about avatars too.
Q: By 'guidelines' do you mean about how we think dicussions should be conducted. Eg. with an open introduction where people can make opening statements ?
If this is what you mean, I/we can do that and post it to the Action Group so people can add their comments?
